1. Description of Service

SnapStatic ("the Service") is a website builder platform accessible at studio.snapstatic.io and snapstatic.io. The Service lets you pick a template, customize content, and publish a static website to a subdomain at yourname.snapstatic.io or a custom domain you configure.

The Service includes the website editor, site publishing infrastructure, media storage, optional analytics integration, contact form handling, and all related APIs and tools provided through the SnapStatic platform.

2. Account Registration

To access paid features or publish a website, you must create an account using one of our supported authentication methods (currently GitHub, Google, or X/Twitter via our authentication provider, Supabase). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your authentication accounts and for all activity under your SnapStatic account.

You agree to provide accurate and current information during registration. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. License and Permitted Use

SnapStatic grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the service for its intended purpose: building and publishing websites.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of SnapStatic and any output complies with the terms of any third-party services you connect and all applicable laws and regulations.

4. Restrictions and Prohibited Use

You may not:

Resell, sublicense, redistribute, or white-label the SnapStatic application as a separate product without our written permission
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service
Use the service to generate or publish content that violates applicable laws or infringes the rights of others
Attempt to circumvent usage limits, security measures, or access controls
Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the service beyond the intended API usage
Use published sites to distribute malware, phishing pages, or other harmful content

You may not publish or host content that:

Contains pornography, sexually explicit material, or sexual exploitation of minors
Endangers, exploits, or harms minors in any way
Promotes the sale, purchase, or use of firearms, weapons, ammunition, or explosives
Promotes the sale, purchase, or use of illegal drugs, controlled substances, or drug paraphernalia
Offers unauthorized pharmaceutical sales or operates unlicensed online pharmacies
Provides gambling or online betting services
Distributes pirated software, cracked applications, jailbreak tools, illegal torrents, license key generators, or any copyrighted material without authorization
Links to or provides instructions for obtaining pirated content, warez, or illegal file-sharing services
Sells or promotes counterfeit goods or knockoff merchandise
Distributes malware, phishing pages, surveillance tools, stalkerware, or any content designed to deceive or harm visitors
Contains hate speech, harassment, threats of violence, or promotes discrimination based on race, ethnicity, gender, religion, sexual orientation, or disability
Promotes terrorism, extremism, or incites violence
Depicts or promotes animal cruelty or animal abuse
Facilitates fraud, scams, pyramid schemes, multi-level marketing recruitment, or deceptive business practices
Promotes cryptocurrency pump-and-dump schemes, fake token sales, or NFT fraud
Makes misleading health claims, promotes fake medical cures, or presents unproven medical treatments as fact
Impersonates another person, brand, or organization
Publishes personal information of others without consent (doxxing)
Infringes copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights
Consists of spam, SEO manipulation, or auto-generated content farms
Provides services to sanctioned countries or entities in violation of applicable trade sanctions
Promotes or distributes tools designed to spy on or monitor individuals without their consent
Violates any applicable laws in your jurisdiction

This list is not exhaustive. SnapStatic reserves the right to determine that content not explicitly listed above is prohibited if it is deemed harmful, illegal, or otherwise inappropriate for the platform.

You may use paid features to build and deploy sites for your own projects or client work, but the SnapStatic application itself must not be redistributed or marketed as your own service.

5. Payments, Subscriptions, and Refunds

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or yearly basis through our payment processor, Lemon Squeezy (Lemon Squeezy LLC). Prices are displayed in USD and may be subject to applicable taxes depending on your location. Lemon Squeezy handles all payment processing, invoicing, and tax compliance as Merchant of Record.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at [email protected]. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access to paid features until your paid period expires. After expiry, your published sites will be taken offline until you resubscribe. Your site data is retained for 90 days after expiry to allow reactivation.

As a goodwill policy, we offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for new purchases. If you are not satisfied, contact us at [email protected] within 7 days of your initial purchase with your order ID and we will issue a full refund. This is in addition to your statutory rights described below.

6. Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of purchase, without giving any reason.

However, by subscribing and using the service, you expressly consent to the immediate provision of digital content and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed or you have begun using the digital content (in accordance with Article 16(m) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU and § 356 Abs. 5 BGB).

To exercise the right of withdrawal before using the service, send a clear statement to [email protected] within 14 days of purchase. We will process your refund within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice.

7. Free Tier and Trial

Free features are provided at no cost with limited functionality. Free users may build and preview sites but publishing requires a subscription or active trial.

We may offer time-limited trials of paid features. Trial terms are communicated at the time of activation. We reserve the right to modify free tier limits or discontinue the free tier with 30 days' prior notice via email or in-app notification.

8. Intellectual Property and Copyright

You retain all rights to your own content. We do not claim ownership of any content you create, upload, or generate through the service. You grant us only the limited right to process, store, and serve your content as necessary to provide the service (including publishing your site to visitors). This license terminates when you stop using the service and your content is deleted.

"SnapStatic", the SnapStatic logo, and all related names and slogans are trademarks of SnapStatic. You may not use these trademarks without our prior written permission. All third-party trademarks referenced on this website are the property of their respective owners.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of any SnapStatic proprietary materials without prior written consent, except as expressly permitted by these Terms.

9. User Content and Published Sites

You create and manage content directly within the SnapStatic editor. Published sites are stored on our infrastructure and served from your subdomain (yourname.snapstatic.io) or custom domain.

You are solely responsible for all content you publish through SnapStatic. This includes text, images, media, embedded scripts, analytics code, contact form configurations, and any other material on your published site. Content published on *.snapstatic.io subdomains or custom domains configured through SnapStatic is user content, not SnapStatic content.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use and distribute all content, including images, text, and media. You are also responsible for complying with applicable privacy laws regarding data you collect from your site visitors (e.g., through contact forms or analytics).

We reserve the right to remove or disable access to any content that violates these Terms, applicable law, or the rights of third parties. Where practicable, we will notify you before or promptly after taking action, unless legal requirements or urgent circumstances prevent notice.

10. Analytics on Published Sites

SnapStatic allows you to integrate third-party analytics services (such as Google Analytics, Plausible, or Umami) on your published sites. When you enable analytics, the respective third-party provider collects data from your site visitors according to their own privacy policies.

SnapStatic does not control or process analytics data collected by these providers. You are solely responsible for disclosing analytics tracking to your site visitors, obtaining any required consent, and complying with applicable privacy laws (including GDPR and ePrivacy regulations).

11. Disclaimers and Warranty

SnapStatic is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service or its output will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with every hosting setup or browser.

We do not guarantee that websites built with SnapStatic will achieve any particular performance, SEO ranking, loading speed, or compatibility outcome. Results may vary depending on your content, theme, and other factors outside our control.

While we implement reasonable security measures, we do not guarantee protection against data loss, unauthorized access, or other security incidents. You are responsible for maintaining independent backups of your content.

The information provided on this website and within the application is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute legal, financial, technical, or other professional advice.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SnapStatic and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost data, lost profits, or business interruption, arising from your use of or inability to use the service.

SnapStatic is not liable for any content published by users on their sites, including content served from *.snapstatic.io subdomains or custom domains. Users are solely responsible for their published content and any claims, damages, or legal actions arising from it.

Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SnapStatic and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

Your use of the service
Content you publish, upload, or distribute through SnapStatic, including content hosted on your *.snapstatic.io subdomain or custom domain
Your violation of these Terms
Your infringement of any third-party rights (including intellectual property and privacy rights)
Claims by your site visitors related to content, data collection, or analytics on your published site

14. Third-Party Services

SnapStatic integrates with third-party services including but not limited to Supabase (authentication), Cloudflare (hosting, CDN, storage), and Lemon Squeezy (payment processing). We are not responsible for the availability, performance, security, or policies of these third-party services.

Changes to third-party APIs, terms of service, or functionality may affect SnapStatic's operation. We will make reasonable efforts to address such changes but cannot guarantee uninterrupted compatibility.

Our website may contain links to external third-party websites over whose content we have no control. The respective provider is always responsible for the content of linked pages.

15. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned downtime in advance.

If we permanently discontinue the service, we will provide at least 30 days' notice and make reasonable efforts to allow you to export your content before shutdown.

16. Termination and Account Deletion

We may suspend or terminate your access to the service if you violate these Terms or engage in prohibited activities. Where practicable, we will provide notice and an opportunity to remedy the violation before permanent termination, unless the violation is severe or poses immediate risk.

You may terminate your account at any time using the account deletion feature or by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. Published sites will be taken offline and stored data (content, media, configurations) will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

If you believe your account was suspended or terminated in error, you may appeal by contacting [email protected]. We will review appeals within 14 days.

17. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. For consumers within the European Union, mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence apply in addition.

All payment-related matters are governed by Lemon Squeezy's terms as Merchant of Record. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Germany, unless mandatory consumer protection law provides otherwise.

18. Age Requirement

You must be at least 16 years of age to use SnapStatic. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have obtained parental or guardian consent to use the service and agree to these Terms. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16. If we become aware that a user is under 16, we will terminate their account and delete associated data.

19. Copyright Infringement and DMCA

SnapStatic respects intellectual property rights and expects its users to do the same. We act as a service provider hosting user-generated content under 17 U.S.C. § 512 (the Digital Millennium Copyright Act) and equivalent provisions under EU law.

Filing a Takedown Notice

If you believe that content hosted on SnapStatic (including content on *.snapstatic.io subdomains) infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to our designated agent containing:

Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
Identification of the infringing material and its URL or location on the service
Your contact information (name, address, email, phone number)
A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf
Your physical or electronic signature

Counter-Notification

If your content was removed and you believe it was removed in error or is not infringing, you may submit a counter-notification containing:

Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal
A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification
Your name, address, and phone number
A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal courts in your district and will accept service of process from the party who filed the original notice
Your physical or electronic signature

Upon receiving a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original complainant and restore the removed material within 10–14 business days unless the complainant notifies us of a court action.

Repeat Infringers

We maintain a policy of terminating the accounts of users who are repeat copyright infringers in appropriate circumstances.

20. Content Moderation and Enforcement

We may review published sites for compliance with these Terms, either in response to reports or through automated detection. Sites found hosting prohibited content (as defined in Section 4) will be suspended immediately without prior notice. Upon suspension:

All site files and data are removed from our servers
Any active subscription is cancelled with no refund for the current or any prior billing period
Your account may be permanently terminated at our discretion
We may report illegal content to the relevant law enforcement authorities

SnapStatic reserves the sole right to determine whether content violates this policy. We are not obligated to provide evidence or justification for enforcement decisions.

Reporting Abuse

If you encounter a site hosted on SnapStatic that contains prohibited content, please report it to [email protected]. Include:

The URL of the site in question
A description of the content you believe violates this policy
Any supporting evidence (screenshots, links)

We review all reports and take action as necessary. For copyright-related reports, please follow the DMCA process described in Section 19.

21. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will provide at least 14 days' notice by updating the effective date at the top of this page and notifying you through the application or by email. Continued use of the service after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you must stop using the service before the updated Terms take effect.

22. Educational Content Disclaimer

Blog posts and guides published under the Sarili Mo Na and Padala Na Kumikita names (and any future Sarili Mo Na sub-brand content) are provided for educational purposes only. Nothing in these posts constitutes financial, legal, tax, or professional advice of any kind.

Readers are solely responsible for their own compliance with applicable Philippine laws and regulations, including but not limited to BIR (Bureau of Internal Revenue) registration and filing obligations, LGU business permits, and all other applicable tax and licensing requirements. SnapStatic cannot advise you on your specific tax or legal situation.

SnapStatic is a website builder, not a merchant of record

SnapStatic provides a platform for publishing websites. SnapStatic is not involved in any transactions that take place on websites built and operated by users of the platform. Specifically, SnapStatic:

Does not hold, receive, or disburse money on behalf of site owners or their customers
Does not process payments, issue invoices, or act as a payment intermediary for user sites
Does not handle refunds, chargebacks, or payment disputes for products or services sold on user sites
Does not provide customer service for goods or services sold on user sites
Has no visibility into individual user sales data, transaction volumes, or customer information

Payment providers chosen by site owners, such as Lemon Squeezy, PayPal, GCash, Maya, or any other processor, are solely responsible for payment processing on those sites, and their own terms of service and privacy policies govern those transactions.

No warranty or earnings guarantee

SnapStatic makes no representations or warranties regarding income, revenue, or results that any user may achieve from operating a site built on the platform or from applying information in our educational content. Examples, scenarios, and illustrative personas used in blog posts (such as "Maria", "Joy", or similar) are fictional and are used for illustration only. They do not represent guaranteed, typical, or promised outcomes. Individual results will vary based on many factors outside SnapStatic's control.

Trademarks and permitted use

"Sarili Mo Na" and "Padala Na Kumikita" are brand names of SnapStatic. All rights are reserved.

You are welcome to share, quote, and screenshot Sarili Mo Na and Padala Na Kumikita content for personal and educational purposes. However, you may not:

Repackage, republish, or resell this content (in whole or in substantial part) as a paid product, course, ebook, membership, or derivative work
Use the names "Sarili Mo Na" or "Padala Na Kumikita" in the title, branding, or marketing of your own paid products, courses, or services
Remove or obscure the SnapStatic attribution when excerpting or republishing any portion of this content

These restrictions apply regardless of whether the content is excerpted in Filipino, English, or any other language, and regardless of the medium (online, print, video, audio, or other).
